Home Again

Matthew is home! He had a wonderful time. His plane flew in on Sunday night, then early Tuesday morning he went to Trek with our Stake. David went also, I was completely alone for the week they were gone.

While Matts was in Europe he was at the Eiffiel Tower, and Versailles on the same days, but at different times. Too bad they did not get to see each other and have the pictures. (Excuse my french spellings)

Jonathan is in Italy now, but when he was in Paris at the Lourve he ran into your friends the Bekkers! And Sarah saw a guy from the her ward in London! (Or some thing like that).

So what did I do while they have been away? Not as much as I thought I would, I finished a quilt for Pine Needles, taught a class, cleaned out some books and fabric I don't want/need any more. And the most fun of all is that I got to take care of Addie while Katie was at the dentist. I'll try to post a few photos - wish me luck.

Slow Summer Weeks

Our house has been buzzing lately - not from a lot of activity, but from the World Cup Games! The sound makes me crazy, but we have to watch the US play - Let Won!! Let's hope this game going on right now will be just as good.

Jonathan leaves tomorrow morning with Stephen for their World Trip.
Wow - what will David and I do with the house empty for a change? Not as much laundry, dishes, who knows. I will miss the kids every day.

If you are on face book, watch my video of Addie dancing - I took it from Reed's face book. She is so funny to watch and listening to Reed laugh is just as good.

See you soon!

Happy Father's Day

David had breakfast in bed before he had to run to the Ward to do his Bishoping duties.
It was a little different because Matts is in Europe and Jonathan stayed over night. It has been only a few days with out Matts at home, but it is not the same. He is not a very noise kid, but he is all ways hungry. We have seen pictures from his trip and he looks happy.
Sarah is leaving Tuesday - that will be different again. The Jonathan leaves next Sunday with Stephen Bird. The house will seem much bigger without the kids.

If you want to learn about Matt's trip you can log onto curtistravelers.blogspot.com They post about each day, tomorrow they leave Rome and go to Florence - I think.

Life is Good!

Summer is almost here

Summer is suppose to be here, it was hot and humid in Minneapolis last week. When we walked out of the convention center at 6:00 p.m. is was 87 degrees! It was 73 in the morning.

Sarah was a good sport to go with me again to quilt market, I would not know what to do if she did not help and support me. Even when we end up at the wrong airport and car rental when we were short on time. Who would think that there would be two airports and car rentals right next to each other. The GPS had a list of Minneapolis airports to go to. We chose the top one.

Matts is graduating next Thursday at 6:30 at the U of U. You are all invitied to come. I will be happy while I am there, but I will go home a cry. It will not be home without Matts here to keep us going.

But summer is here...

Here is a picture of my Aunt Janet, Michelle, Aunt Dixie, Mary Winters, Me and Faye. All of these wonderful women have been in our lives to help, support and love us through all of the trials we have lived through. My mother was very blessed to have family and friends who filled our lives with so much love. Thank you for all you do and who you are.

Easter in St George

We had a short trip to St George, but it was great. The weather was beautiful, alittle cool at first the it warmed up to the high 60's/70's and the sun was shinning! We tried to fly a kite and played on the slide. Addie is of course the star of the photos, but I have a few of rest of us mixed in.
Opps! All of the pictures are of Addie.
